Here’s the new redesign- using good ole’ HTML like grandma
used to make. You won’t find any of those new-age, bloggy
RSS feeds here.
Also,
TheAuburner now has a sponsor, Ticket
City. We’ve never purchased anything from Ticket City,
but we looked into them and they do check out as bonafide. They
sell all sorts of concert and sporting event tickets (including
Auburn Football). We won’t have any outrageous banners,
but you may see a link to them thrown into the news section every
now and then. They approached us with a pretty good offer, and they
have absolutely no control what we can and can’t post, so
we thinks it beneficial for everybody. Let us know if you think
it’s a bad idea on our part – we can stop at any time
and can probably be talked out of this.
The
kickoff for the new Auburner ‘season’ starts now. Expect
more updates and whatnot. As for the writers; Ryan is in Auburn
finishing his last year. I graduated in May and now work in Huntsville….
so I probably shouldn’t be running a college site anymore
now that I’m a grownup and all. Thankfully, Brandon Cox is
older than me and I can't grow a beard - so I don't feel too bad
for doing this. I’m not exactly sure how that logic works…
That’s
about it. We’re expecting to post plenty of features this
summer and fall. As always, e-mail us with any comments or suggestions.
The feedback is the best part of running this site.
